Create your practice

Set up your practice organisation in SmileLine and invite your team with the right roles.

By the end of this page your practice will exist in SmileLine, your colleagues will be invited, and everyone will have a sensible role.

Create the organisation

Right after you create your account, SmileLine asks you to create your practice.

On the Create your practice screen, enter your Practice name — for example, Bright Smiles Dental.

Click Create organization.

You land on Today. The practice is ready — everything your team does from here on belongs to it.

You become the practice's Owner automatically. There's nothing else to configure before you invite people — you can fill in locations, treatments and other settings later.

Invite your team

Go to Settings, then Team members.

Click Invite member.

Enter their Email and pick a Role (see below).

Click Send invitation. They'll get an email with a link to join the practice — the link lands them on a You're invited page where they accept and create their account if they don't have one.

Pending invitations appear on the same Team members page until they're accepted.

Roles in plain words

  • Member — works patients, journeys, tasks and the inbox. Can't change settings or remove anyone. The right choice for most front-desk staff.
  • Admin — everything a member can, plus settings, integrations and team management.
  • Owner — full control, including deleting the practice.

Only owners can invite other owners — admins won't see the Owner option in the invite dialog.
